Plan for later care
Find out what the recurring fee buys
Published weight-care prices checked in September 2026 commonly used a monthly membership, with the drug charge separate.
These are advertised fees for online weight care, rather than a price for your later visit. Ask for the charge for each review in your own plan.
- Does the fee include a doctor or other health professional review?
- Can I send questions to the care team, and is an answer included in the fee? Ask whether this is by phone or an online message.
- What counts as an extra visit?
- Who charges when a test result needs discussion?
Ask who answers after a medicine arrives
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) warns, as of September 2026, about services where no licensed doctor is available for questions after medicine arrives. FDA’s checklist for online care
Ask how to reach the doctor or other health professional and the pharmacy. Request a written answer about routine questions, new symptoms and problems with a delivery.
Ask and note
Who will review a concern, and how do I reach them?
Ask how care moves beyond a screen
Medical-board guidance says the doctor or other health professional must refer for in-person follow-up when an exam, procedure or test is needed. Guidance on arranging further care
The Federation of State Medical Boards, made up of state boards, issued these recommendations. Your state sets the rules that the service must follow.
Ask who makes the referral, where the results go and whether the extra assessment is part of the fee.
Get the renewal and exit terms
Request the renewal date, notice period and cancellation method. Ask what becomes of unused fees and how to get a copy of your records.
Keep the terms with the quote. If the plan changes, ask for a fresh explanation of the care and the bill before agreeing to the change.
Ask and note
What would I owe if the plan ends or changes?
